The image here is of my young dog Tommy, who is a very sensitive being in his own right and perfectly expresses his loyal nature. I've often found him an excellent interpreter of my own sometimes reluctant human senses.
It is vital that from the commencement of any contact and at every stepof the way there is clearly given consent and permission to proceed. This may seem self evident. However we all invest enormous energy in maintaining our individual states.
I am personally unable to take on all cases (but will always endeavour to seek a way forward for you), however I supervise all cases that come to this Teaching School.
Respecting boundaries is a prerequisite for taking on a case, if the client has blown boundaries, that need to repaired, this condition needs to be acknowledged from the outset for any Reiki Treatment to be successful. Some cases take many sessions, over extended time frames, because that is what the client’s personal situation or finances allow. Such conditions also need to be respected, just as some are able to have rapid resolutions over a few weeks.
The work I do is sometimes arduous and taxing, of resources on many levels, because sometimes we need to go deeply into a problem to help the individual to restore harmony in their life. The only difficulty is in getting the client to allow the process, at all levels of their being, this means gaining permission to redirect the core energy; that has embedded conditions. Even when they are oblivious to their own disease maintaining and ultimately failing strategies. Remember if you are unwell, or out of balance, it takes equal energy to get you back on track. Reiki simply requires you to accept that there are some things beyond your control.
Please understand that in the age of instant messaging, mobile phones and the internet it is not always possible to reply immediately. Simply because this kind of work has its own spiritually determined schedule and the time table is often outside my hands.
